After a few festivals in Europe and one more quite standard inddor show in Moscow- Russia, Avantasia headed to South America with a first stop in Buenos Aires – Argentina. More countries like Chile, Brazil, Mexicoa and for the first time Costa Rica and Colombia are planned as well.

1. stop Buenos Aires/Argentina 25.06.: Here we have quite a bigger change, because Ronnie Atkins has concerts with pretty Maids during this leg of the tour, so they decided to change the setlist a little bit and to use Eric Martin, Oliver Hartmann and Thomas Rettke as a replacement of Atkins in some songs. They had to play the same day in Buenos Aires as they arrived, so they suffered from jetlag and also from Argentina being located in a quite high place. So they changed the pace of the setlist a little bit.

2. stop Santiago/Chile 27.06.: Their 2nd stop was Santiago in Chile with another very crowded concert with fans waiting to enter hours before the concert. The audience was enthusiastic and sang most songs with the band. Avantasia had some technical problems and had to remove ‘Great Mystery’ and ‘In quest for’ because of problems with the keyboard.

3. stop Sao Paulo/Brazil 29.06.: With Sao Paulo the biggest show in South America folled and the concert was already sold-out with 4.800 sold tckets quite some time. Michael Kiske catched a flu and had some sore throat, which was not hearable for most of the audiences, but it influenced himself a little bit. Many fans waited for hours at the band hotel to catch a picture with band or get some titems signed. The audience was fantastic as always and they sang almost all lyrics with the band. In Sao Paulo the 2 songs ‘Great Mystery’ and ‘In Quest for’made it back to the setlist and will probably last for the rest of the South/Middle American shows.
4. stop Bogota/Colombia 01.07.: This was the first stop of the band in Colombia and it started with a press conference. It was also a really good concert for Avantasia and the setlist didn’t change from the Brasil show. The comments of the fans were fantastic like ‘This was really fantastic…..the sound was amazing…I could hear all singers very well….Michi sang awesome as always’.
5. stop San Jose/Costa Rica 03.07.: The next stop was Costa Rica and again it was the first time for Avantasia to travel there. This show happend due to a heavy fan demand for the band and they were welcomed there very warm. This time there was a local band called ‘Time’s Forgotten’ as opener. Therefore the setlist was reduced for the 2 songs ‘Wicked Symphony’ and ‘Savior in the Clockwork’.
6. stop Mexico City/Mexico 05.07.: …info follows soon

7. stop Quebec/Canada 07.07.: …info follows soon
